I. Call to order John Moffitt called to order the regular meeting of the Michigan X-Rider Regular monthly meeting/ Tech Session at 9:00AM on May 4 2008 in White Ranch.

III. Approval of minutes from last meeting Marshall Bish (Deadeye) read the minutes from the last meeting. The minutes were approved as read.

IV. Open issues a) The following different rides were discussed: Charity Ride, Port Dover, Honda Hoot, and Ride for Kids, Muskegon Bike Time, Iron Man Ride, Midnight Ride to the Bridge, Bay Mills Ride. Pleas watch board for more info on each of these rides. b) John Moffitt reported we have $638.00 before today’s Tec Session. c) A motion was put forth for the Directors to also fill the officer positions for the Michigan Xriders Inc. d) President is Rick Boone, Vice President Kevin Wheaton, Treasury Jon Moffitt, Secretary Marshall Bish, Sergeant of Arms Raul Savage

a) Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation put on a presentation.
b) Report on subcommittee meeting and further nominations end result was John Moffitt, Rick Boone, Kevin Wheaton, Raul Savage and Marshall Bish were nominated and voted on by members present to hold the Director positions for the Michigan Xriders. Bylaws to be posted once revisions have been completed.
c) The 2008 Charity Ride was presented to the group details to be posted in a separate posting on the board. Entry forms were handed out.
d) Sundog discussed Patriot Guard items including a up coming ride Called Ride around the mitt watch board for details.
e) It brought up that some one should get events on our Calendar, Marshall Bish (Deadeye) volunteered to try to keep up with posting them please Email any events you like to get on the Calendar to Marshall_Bish@Charter.net.
f) 50/50 Drawing won By Hong Kong Phooey and a $20.00 gift certificate from AM Leather was won by Marshall Bish (Deadeye).
g) Interest shown for Bike Time in Muskegon Camping dates to be posted on Calendar.

c) Owner asked that a notice of a Benefit for Daryl Schiffer who has been diagnosed with cancer in December and is only 29 will be held at the KICKSTAND BAR 3/22/08 3:00 PM till ??. Food ,Music and fun 50/50 raffle for $3000.00 sound system gift baskets, tickets, pool tournaments,card and more.

a) Elections and things needed to be come a nonprofit Organization/ It was decided to have a subcommittee to move forward on this issue, by laws, voting officers everything involved. Volunteers were requested the following stepped forward or were will be asked to be on the committee: John Moffitt, Rick & Becky Boone, Kevin Wheaton, Marshall Bish, Dani & Billy Bear, Raul, Robert, Becky and Bart. Tracker will be asked to sit on this also if he can make it. Meeting to be before next months meeting all on the committee will be contacted by Marshall Bish.
b) Progress on the ordering of back patches purchase discussed last meeting/ We now have 8 large Xriders back patches available for sale @50.00 per.
c) Any Patriot Guard news/ Sundog keeps us updated on the board.
d) Any news on new Group (AMVETS)/ John Anguish reported three members joined from the Xriders also provide a flyer which has the following information: Contact: John Aguish at John @JMAMFG.com. Post 29 MT. Clemens-Clubhouse, Any American Veteran or of a vet can join. We make 4 major rider a year-for charity Cost: $35.00 to join the post, $15.00 to join the Riders, 15.00 for your Patches. They have a lady to sew on the patches, your biker name, and the “WE RIDE FOR FREEDOM” “POST 29 MT. CLEMENS, MI Plus cost.

V. New business
a) We have the first annual "Big Belching Beer Bellies" meeting Jan 12th. It's also a LAN party for those who want to get blown up. VTXMONK/ Monk Supplied a map to 24110 Research Drive, Farmington Hills were the LAN party is to be held. 1/12/08 @ 1:00 PM
b) Planning for Homecoming/Honda Hoot doing it as a group/ Discussion on subject was to keep an eye on posts both functions will have members attending.
c) Club financials. ( John Moffit) currently @ $376.00 which include proceeds from 50/50 drawing
d) 50/50 Drawing won by Bart Davis friend who had already left, but Bart contacted him and was told to give the $87.00 back to the club for Charity.
e) February’s Meeting to be Held in Lansing at Bonny’s Restaurant
f) March meeting to be checked into by Christine Anguish.
g) Prizes won were Progressive springs for a 1300 donated by Mike G. if I’m not mistaken and won by Becky. Also John had a coffee maker won by Jay & Mary

Group is second in the nation. d) John Moffitt brought up state of financials currently @ + $416.00 e) Darryl discussed Patriot Guard Welcome home at Flint International Airport along with other events listed @ http://www.PGRMichigan.org also see his post on the board. V. New business a) Parts Donated by VTX Roger (Extender) are for sale and can be installed by Roger. b) Next month’s meeting to be at Gatsby’s Novi in conjunction with the Bike Show. $2.00 off tickets is available online; also buffet style lunch will be available. c) February’s Meeting to be Held in Lansing at Bonny’s Restaurant. d) New Director Kevin Wheaton (Weatherman) to serve with John and Rick, this is needed due to law that requing officers of our club to become a non-profit Organization. Also Marshall Bish is currently filling the recording Secretary position. Elections to be discussed at next meeting. e) Original X Rider back patches are on sale for 15% off motion was made to purchase 6 of these for our store. Motion carried. Tom Motter spoke up for one of said patches. f) Store sales at meeting were 1 Lg. long sleeve, 1 Mug to Mike Gerdeman, Ron Keine 1 Ladies, also one small Michigan X-Rider patch. g) No 50/50 drawing because of donation of toys. h) Raffle give a ways won by; Gazoo (Jar of Hand Cleaner), Monk, Dale, and Deadeye ( can of Carmel Corn) VI.
